Dear Canyon Families,

I hope you know how truly excited I am to be a Canyon Colt! From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt the warmth, energy, and strong sense of community that make this school so special.

I’ve been an educator for over 20 years, most recently serving as the RTI Facilitator at Lewiston Elementary. I believe there’s nothing better than working with kids—their honesty, energy, and excitement about learning inspire me every day.

I’ve already had the chance to meet a few students and staff, and it’s clear that Canyon is a place where strong, caring relationships are at the heart of everything. I’m committed to continuing that tradition and making sure every student feels safe, known, loved, and empowered to learn.

I grew up on a dairy farm in Richmond, where I learned the value of hard work. Today, my husband Cody and I are raising our three kids in Richmond, sharing with them the same small-town values and love of the outdoors. You’ll often find us skiing, mountain biking, hiking, or camping as a family.

As your principal, I value open communication and strong partnerships with families. Together, we can ensure students reach their full potential.  I look forward to getting to know each of you—please don’t hesitate to stop by and say hello!
